Works Constitution Act: Introduction (WoCo 1)
In order to represent the interests of employees consistently and effectively, the works council must be clear about its tasks and duties and be aware of and use the legal options available to it. The appropriate tool for this is the Works Constitution Act (WCA): It is the most important legal foundation for the works council's work and forms the basis for dealing with the many tasks and possibilities.
In this training you can learn the essential legal basis for your work by dealing with the legal texts in a practical way and also acquire knowledge and skills for the practical implementation of your tasks and plans. After all, you should not only know the relevant legal provisions but also be able to apply them in order to competently represent the interests of your co-workers. In this way, existing problems can be solved and working conditions can be shaped.
Therefore, a special focus of the training is on the Works Constitution Act and how to apply it in your day-to-day work as a works council member. This way you are guaranteed to quickly find your way around in your new job!
