How does this country work? Basic principles of German labour law at a glance
Statutory interest representatives are confronted with a variety of legal problems and tasks in their daily work. Working in a statutory interest representation body therefore requires a basic knowledge of the content of the relevant legislations and case law issued on them, and its application. However, it is often difficult to navigate and keep track of the multitude of laws.
This training provides basic knowledge of the structures of the multi-layered labour law system and clarifies basic labour law terms. Furthermore, it provides an overview of the legal bases and legal problems that may arise in connection with the initiation, establishment, continuance (rights and obligations), and termination of the employment relationship from an individual law perspective.
