Online training course: The occupational health and safety committee and implementation of the company’s occupational health and safety measures
This introductory training seminar will provide you with sound guidance for your involvement in the occupational health and safety committee (Arbeitsschutzausschuss – ASA). You will be provided with practical tips and suggestions for effective participation.
We will focus on the following questions: What can the health and safety committee do to improve working and health conditions? And how can the worker representatives on the committee work towards this?
In addition, all the stakeholders of occupational health and safety in the company (occupational health and safety specialists, occupational physicians, etc.) are introduced. We clarify what their tasks are and which possibilities exist for cooperation, support, and co-determination.
The training course at a glance:
- Occupational health and safety committee: Tasks, rights, duties, working methods
- An overview of the main occupational health and safety regulations
- The ASA’s possible activities: Improving working conditions instead of managing illness, taking stock, promising starting points, setting realistic goals, planning implementation steps
- The role and scope for action of worker representatives in the ASA
- Cooperation between works council members and other occupational health and safety stakeholders: Who is responsible for what? Who supports us? How can we have a say about the stakeholders and their commitments?
- The tasks of the occupational health and safety stakeholders (employer, occupational safety specialists, occupational physicians, etc.)
- Implementation of DGUV regulation 1 and 2 (short overview)
