Options available to the works council in the event of alterations (of the establishment)
We’re closing down! Staff cuts are on the cards! We’re relocating! We’re building new premises! We’re being merged! – These are just some of the scenarios that can lead to alterations (of the establishment) under Sections 111 et seq. of the Works Constitution Act (BetrVG) and trigger significant participation rights for the works council.
The training covers all aspects of alterations, in particular issues relating to the workforce, the compensation agreement, the redundancy fairness plan. Together, we examine the participation and co-determination rights that are important under the given circumstances.
Another key concern is, of course, the question of the best possible strategy for the works council in the event of alterations (of the establishment).
