Fundamentals of occupational health and safety for works councils

Healthy work environment, healthy establishment

Occupational health and safety is one of the key areas of co-determination for works councils. In this training course, you can examine your role and your capacity for action as a works council member, especially with regard to the numerous health hazards and ever-increasing workloads that employees face. Examples of healthy working conditions will be presented, and we’ll aim to provide solutions to the specific occupational health problems faced by our participants.

This course provides basic legal knowledge that every works council member needs according to the jurisdiction of the German Federal Labour Court. For this reason, participation in this training course is covered by paid release regulations per § 37 (6) BetrVG.
